Interns

Today I am contacting my universities career services to see about 2 things. 1. If a marketing student or students would want to come up with a proposal for a marketing stategy for my business. It would be great expierence, they could put it on thier resume, and they could see how their plan works in real life. 2. If a graphic design/web design student would want to take on revamping my website. Maybe as a project and once again it is great expierence and a resume builder. If you know anyone who is intersted please let me know.

I'm Back

Wedding Dress

Today I am trying to finish a wedding dress to sell on my site courtneybrookedesign.etsy.com. Wedding dresses always take forever, but it is worth it. See my sketch here and check back for the final look!

Busy

Today I am trying to get a lot done beofre I go on a cruise in a few days. I found some great stuff at the salvation army yesterday, so I can have a better work space, but now I need to get back to my line.

My first sale!

Today was my first sale on ETSY. I am so excited. The linen pants to the left is what I sold. Thanks so much to all my friends out there that are talking my brand up.

Today I am trying to set my sewing room up to be better for business, so I am going to the salavtion army, but the rest of the week I really need to get to sewing and finishing my website.

New Website

So today is my first day to blog. Until about 2 months ago, I didn't even know what a blog was. Yesterday I joined a great site to sell my designs online! Yay!
